Head of Finance and Operations – Part-time and remote

We’re looking for a part-time Head of Finance and Operations who is hyper-organised, loves spreadsheets and is passionate about defending human rights.

Our small team at The Syria Campaign started two years ago with a mission to build effective global solidarity for a free and peaceful Syria.

Together with over half-a-million people around the world we have achieved significant campaign wins. We have raised the profile of groups like the White Helmets rescue workers, helping secure them millions of dollars to continue their life-saving work. We have successfully campaigned to block Europe selling aviation fuel to the Assad regime, secured a UN resolution banning the trade in Syrian antiquities and supported Syrian humanitarians calling out the problems at the heart of the UN’s flawed aid operation. And much, much more.

Do you want to join us?

You’ll need to have a proven track record of drafting, implementing and monitoring budgets for a multi-project team, as well as experience in human resources and organisational management.

Most important of all is a desire to see peace and justice in Syria and to play your part in our overall mission.

The position is a remote one and can be done anywhere in European, Middle Eastern or East Coast US time zones. We have small offices in DC, Berlin, Beirut, and London.

This is a 60% part-time role and is remote. Salary commensurate with experience. The vacancy will remain open until filled.

To apply please send an up-to-date CV with a cover letter to [email protected] .
